Love in action – Christchurch on the Grove

Christchurch Ilkley is a busy and loving place – People of all ages, theological persuasions and backgrounds testify to the welcome they have received, and to the spiritual home they have found. At the heart of the community, The Church Cafe, meeting rooms and quiet Sanctuary are open every day of the week.

Whether it's community activities in the spacious and active premises, prayer times, House groups, visiting the housebound or welcoming new children in Dan's Den, love-in-action continues throughout the week.

We worship every Sunday morning at 10.15am and have a variety of preachers, worship leaders and styles. Once a month (often the second Sunday) we have a café style service where discussion is more to the fore. After all the 10.15 services we have refreshments. We have a 'Pause for Thought' short service on a Thursday morning at 10.30am.

On the first and third Sundays of the month (apart from August) we have an all-age "Messy Church" from 3.30 pm and on the second Sunday at 4 pm a service called "Smile" for children with learning needs and their families.

Our aim is to put Christ's love into action for today.
