Wesley Singers To Lead a Service At Guiseley
Our worship during Lent will be enriched this year by the Wesley Singers leading an evening Circuit service at 6.00 pm on Passion Sunday, 29th March, by singing 'Olivet To Calvary' by J. H. Maunder.
The Wesley Singers is a choir of about 38 members who come from various churches within the Yorkshire West Methodist District.
The group was formed in 1985 under the direction of David Carr specifically to introduce the new hymn book, Hymns and Psalms. Now, more than 30 years later, under the leadership of Barry Jordan, the choir gives ten or more concerts each year as well as taking part in worship services. They recently sang at Ripon Cathedral. Please book the date.
