Hello, I'm Roberta Topham. I've been working for the Methodist Church, off and on, since 1989 when I began as a lay worker in Leeds. I've been a minister (presbyter) since 1999, always based in Yorkshire, which I love.
I was born and brought up in Northern Ireland in a town called Newcastle, "where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea", so I adore a good hill walk and sea swimming.
My background is in social anthropology and I continue to enjoy learning about how we human beings make meaning in our communities and get the most from the opportunities which God gives to us.
