October 2020
2020 has turned many aspects of normal life upside-down. This year, Rev Lesley Taylor our former superintendent moved away from our circuit to take up a post in the Nidd Valley Circuit.
Given the restrictions prohibiting worship at time, it was impossible to celebrate Lesley's service to the circuit and say goodbye in person, so on the 11th October we conducted a farewell service over Zoom.
Lesley said:
I'd like to say a big thank you to all Circuit members for the very generous gifts you gave me at my Circuit Farewell Service on 11th October. I loved seeing so many familiar faces on the Zoom service. The Circuit and churches will always have a special place in my heart.
Thank you once again.
Lesley
