New Cap Debt Centre Manager

The Circuit is delighted to have appointed Michael Dodd as our new CAP Debt Centre Manager for Wharfedale and Aireborough. Michael lives in Otley and has most recently been working as a maths tutor.

Currently Michael is receiving full training for the role from Christians Against Poverty, a national charity based in Bradford. The Circuit works in partnership with CAP.

In the next few weeks, Michael will start the process of reopening our debt centre and start receiving new clients. He'll be recruiting volunteers to help in this important work.

Rev Roger Smith commented: 'Samantha Price successfully ran the Wharfedale & Aireborough debt centre for over 4 years. Now Michael is starting a new chapter in this story. This is work that transforms people's lives.'

Michael added: 'I am really looking forward to building on Samantha's work and working with people struggling with unmanageable debt in the local area. If you know an individual or organisation who would benefit from knowing more about the service that CAP provides, or you are willing to be a befriender to accompany me on client visits, do not hesitate to get in touch.'
